A Brief Profile

I'm an international educator currently in Hanoi, Vietnam. I teach at UNIS Hanoi in the English A department. I've been overseas for 8 years, all of them within MYP schools. I'm also an English A MYP Workshop Leader for the Asia-Pacific Region. You can probably tell that MYP is a curriculum framework I am quite dedicated to!

I'm also very dedicated to the importance of technology and problem-solving in education, and I write about these and other issues on my blog, create. connect. question.

In fall 2009 I will leave Hanoi and move to New York, where I'll attend NYU Steinhardt to do an M.A. in Educational Communication and Technology.

I'm happy to connect with people here! Thanks to you all for making this such an active and warm space.

Hi Adrienne,
I've just written a new post in this Ning. My school has just started the PYP process this year. You might recognise that from our planning. What do you think of our central idea and lines of inquiry. Any suggestions? Nice to see you here. Cheers Nina

Hi again Adrienne. How exciting to be moving to New York; a city I've always dreamed of visiting. The Master's study sounds very exciting. Perhaps there would be a way you could link activity here into it. Even introduce others to the space maybe. It is an active, inviting and thoughful space. Thanks for mentioning that. I love the fact that educators with purpose are finding one another here. : )

Welcome Adrienne! I just want to echo what Jenny and Angela have already said. It's great to have you with us. Have a look around and see what projects are underway (there's some real neat stuff!).

Hi Adrienne--it's so exciting to see new members from different countries joining us. Please, let us know a little about your work and your experiences in Vietnam.

Hi Adrienne,
You slipped in here unnoticed! Sorry I didn't catch up with you joining earlier. Great to have a member from Vietnam- you're the first from that country. If there is anything we can do to support you in projects you might have planned that will make a difference, please let us know. Very pleased that you have chosen to join us.
